7 tips for more notebook security
- Password & account security – strong, unique passwords and, wherever possible, two-factor authentication
- Turn the firewall on – the built-in firewall should always be switched on
- Antivirus software installed and kept up to date
- Software updates installed promptly, to close security gaps
- Use encryption – especially on mobile devices holding sensitive data
- Regular backups on separate media
- Beware of phishing – never open attachments or links from dubious e-mails

That depends on the defect and the spare part. You receive a binding cost estimate within 1–3 working days and can then decide at your leisure – there are no hidden costs.
Do you repair all makes?
Yes, I repair laptops of all common makes. Tell me the model and the symptom on the phone and I can usually give you a rough assessment right away.
Can you also recover data from a defective notebook?
Yes. If your data is at risk, I secure it before the repair – see data recovery Stuttgart. That way nothing is lost during the repair.
Is a repair worthwhile, or should I rather buy a new device?
I assess that honestly and in advance. Especially with older notebooks I look at the balance between repair costs and the current value of the device, and advise you on sensible alternatives.
